Announcements / Character Transfer Event

Soon we will be launching RestorationCU’s first major content patch (Publish 2: A Call to Arms) Which will include our FRS and Non-Jedi PVPRS systems, our version of Restuss, a number of new PVE areas, and a lot of custom content and items never before seen on any swg server.
As a precursor to this patch, we will be running a Character Transfer event.
For the next two weeks, new players to Resto will be able to receive a jump-start on their templates, along with a number of items to help them establish themselves on the server.

Combat Character:
Choice of 1 Elite combat profession mastery (including commando)
1 small generic house
1 full set of Ubese armor
1 weapon matching chosen profession

Crafting Profession:
Choice of 1 Elite crafter profession mastery (not including merchant)
1 small generic house
1 crafting station for their class
1 factory for their class

skip the badge grind and be granted glowy
1 weapon of their choice
1 small generic house

Full mastery of all 4 entertainer trees
1 small generic house

Limit 1 character per account.
Veteran players to resto are also eligible for all rewards, with the exception of glowy.
Players who played on the Pre-CU Resto server are considered transfers, not veterans, for this event and are eligible for glowy.
Event Lasts from Tuesday, June 19th through Tuesday July 3rd

The Geo-Cave has been completely revamped  for Resto, and is now unlocked. Difficulty level has been adjusted for CU, and loot has been completely overhauled.  A new speeder, a new pet, a handful of new weapons, and some new crafting components for armorsmith, weaponsmith, mechanic, and bio-engineer can all be found here.

Bracks, Tusken Raiders, and the Trade Federation Bunker have all been balanced for CU combat. You will find the difficulty has decreased to now be more appropriate for their loot.

Removed System Message for Combat Que overpopulation. Now it’s on you to remember that you can’t queue more than one action.

Fixes to lightsaber animations to make them accurate to the CU

Force Run will now cause TEF if left up in front of players

Modified Force Run to be more accurate to CU

UI Tweak: combat queue size reduced

Many small bug fixes

Fixed Combat Medic ability crash

Added Yellow Geo Cubes for Armor Enhancements

Added Medicine Enhancers. Neurotoxin is the first one implemented, and is obtainable in the Geo Caves

Force Aura 1 and 2 now have same duration as CoB. Flytext added at effect start and end.

The rebellion has received a new shipment of AT XT's which are now able to be acquired from a recruiter!

Rocks are no longer explosion-proof! the Hero of Tatooine quest is now able to be completed

A custom "Resto Gold" UI theme has been added

Placeholder galaxy map replaced with a much more polished version.

Login screens, character select, and loading screens have been updated to have their own uniquely-Resto flair. 

An exploit with player bounties not being removed upon mission completion has been fixed

Jedi Visibility and TEF now works as intended. The Galaxy is now far less safe for Jedi.

Player names removed from bounty terminal missions to make hunts more of a mystery

Due to an act of terror carried out by the Jedi-backed Rebellion, the Galactic Travel Commission has been forced to limit travel in and out of the Corellian System to a few specific routes. In addition, Interplanetary travel to and from Naboo is now restricted to Theed Starport. 

Village Phase 3: Capture Enemy Leadership - Waves of Sith Shadows now spawn less frequently, and in smaller numbers.

neither. no disks are required since we use the modthegalaxy tres, and the file structure of the bask/vanilla tres wont be compatible.

follow the instructions and use the download links found here

also make sure you have .NET framework installed and updated

The SWGResto team is pleased to bring you The Combat Restoration.

Rerelease is scheduled for Saturday, October 14th.
Open Beta Testing will begin Tonight, October 7th.
During Beta Testing, expect minor bugs and NPC balance issues.

Slicing, Squadleader, and a few other features will be disabled during Open Beta Test.
Progress during OBT will carry over through official launch.

Jedi Unlock will be the village, with 3-day cycles

It's saying that because the registry says swgemu is already installed. It sounds like you're trying to make things much more complicated than they need to be. Just copy where bask is installed, drop the Resto files in the copied folder, and run the Resto updater.

IS there a way of installing it without messing up access to SWGEMU Bas servers or the other servers? this was seems like I would only be able to hit restoration only?

copy the folder where Bask is installed before patching. then you'll be able to use the old install for bask, or other non-custom content servers, and the new folder for Resto.
