OldForumsBackup / The SquillVille Dueling League
« on: October 30, 2016, 09:52:38 PM »
I’m proud to announce the formation of the SquillVille Dueling league, And the first of many Dueling Tournaments!

The Squillville Tournaments will be non-deathblow double-elimination tournaments with deathblow in the championship round. This will allow even newer jedi to participate and gain valuable pvp experience without risk of permadeath.

future tournaments will require a buy-in, with the winner taking the entire pot, but for our first tournament, there will be no buy-in, and the prize will be 1,000,000 credits and a crafted Garage house (along with a statue in Squillville immortalizing your achievement)

Later tournaments will also feature spectator betting, with odds calculated from builds, gear, and dueling record.
to participate, please reply to this post with your discord name (or ingame name if you aren’t using discord) and I will contact you with the details. At the time of writing, we currently have 8 fighters entered in the tournament, and hopefully will have even more.

in the near future Jedi may start having territory wars once the new shuttle come.

that's actually part of the reason i started the city. I was hoping some medium to large-scale jedi and bounty hunter pvp would start breaking out because of it.

Is there anything else besides credits the city could use, such as equipment for mining?

not harvesters, but if you have (or decide to create) a droid engineer, there are a few structures (including the shuttle port) that require a droid chassis to make.

The Squill Caves.
The fastest grind for any combat profession.
Its one flaw is that it's so far from any cities.
Any trainers.

Until now...

Hello there, My name is JarJar Binks, Mayor and Founder of Squillville.
SquillVille is the galaxy's newest, and most conveniently-located city. We're located on Tatooine 222,-222 just a saber-throw away from the legendary Squill Caves, and a short speeder ride from the Bunker of Madness.

We have a shuttleport, Trainers for every combat profession, and all starter professions.
The Squill Grill cantina almost always has an entertainer and doctor running a buff macro, and also has a -CAT- Food buff vendor.
Right next door is out public crafting house, Fully stocked with server-best crafting stations, and as the city is a manufacturing center, it makes for a good alternative to Anvil if you'd prefer the Assembly bonus to the Experimentation bonus.

across from the crafting house is a small Pawn shop. We have some high-end housing vendors there with large houses and guild halls, a few clothing vendors, and a bounty supply vendor with BH droids.

If you'd like to be added to the pawn shop vendor list, you can mail JarJar in game, or list your character or characters in a reply to this post

If any smugglers would like to place a spice vendor in the cantina, mail jarjar for that as well.

Our city hall has been decorated into a Dueling arena. I'd like to start holding tournaments there with spectator gambling on a regular basis, so let me know if you'd be interested in participating or viewing.

a cloner and medical center wil be added in the next few weeks.

More craftable speeders. Pod racers.

Rank 6 player cities with placeable starports.

Placeable spynet operatives in player cities.

and I wouldn't mind something similar to Bloodfin's atmospheric flight.

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but I think you should do a bit of research on the costs of running a player city. If you can't afford to easily pay for a city hall on your own, you're going to have a very hard time keeping up with the weekly costs of keeping it.

If you think you can handle all that then good for you, but if not, and you still want to be a part of founding a new city, then let me know. I'm going to be starting up a city and a bounty hunter's guild sometime this week, and would be happy to have you join. (I'll be starting it on JarJar, so you can contact me there if you want)

OldForumsBackup / Tattoine Jedi Trainers
« on: August 27, 2016, 06:23:57 PM »
So today i came across all the jedi trainers lined up on tattooine 1980, 2336.
I was of course annoyed that i didnt find them before i hit full temp, but i figured i should share the location with all of you, so you can save yourself the long trip from the squill caves to yavin.

You're welcome.

OldForumsBackup / Refined Crystal Pack Vendor: For all you lazy jedi
« on: August 12, 2016, 04:23:31 PM »

So a bounty hunter just killed you again and now you have to start over.
"oh well, such is life," you think to yourself, "I hit full template before and I can do it again"
But then you remember the excruciating crafting grind. It's a shame there's nothing out there to speed that up....

well now there is.

Come on down to Squillville and you can purchase Refined Crystal Packs for 2k each. It's a low price to pay to cut down that grind from 3 hours to 30 minutes.

We're located on tatooine at 196, -30 Right across from the squill caves.

EDIT: The Vendor has been moved within Squillville City Limits. Now it is located inside the Squillville Pawn Shop. (Squillville is located at 222,-222 Tat)
